TIME of the SEASON Winter 2022 Edition: LOVE of Kill

OK, this is the last one I’m doing for the season because to repeat myself, I’m not touching Arifureta s2 and besides, we need something more soft to end things, so here’s a romance—-

—-action series.

Yeah, an romance action series. No, I don’t know why.

This is Love of Kill. Even the title of this is confusing.

Plot Summary: During one of her bounty hunter missions, Chateau Dankworth comes across Son Ryang-ha, a professional hitman, who begins stalking and brokering her information in exchange for a date. Though reluctant, Chateau complies yet refuses to open up to him. Despite this, Ryang-ha continues to save her when she is under attack and seems to know her past.

First Thoughts: Mr. and Mrs. Smith the anime? Except they’re not married but they re hitmen and they do play this cat-and-mouse game and he wants her and it’s getting weird and shit. It’s like one of those romantic comedy action movies, you know like That Means War….why the fuck did I remember that movie? That one was terrible and this suddenly got those vibes with some vicious lls in there in contrast with the flirting and rom-com stuff. But yeah….this seems….odd to be honest.

Odd enough to keep an eye out in case something does happen that could be good…. so….LOW PRIORITY WATCH.

And that is it for first impressions!!! Whew, glad that’s over and looking at how many new anime I checked out….. OK, maybe it’s much but not too much.

I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and I guess HITMAN in LOVE is too obvious or someone might think it’s tied to the video game.

  1. Since anime is highly stereotypical and its forms are explored already, viewers will not be surprised by a lot of what goes on in the genre unless they’re newbies. Even though life can be difficult, and violence is a notable component of it, it’s not necessary to delve into the level of violence some anime works portray. The nature of the viewer, who sometimes wants to watch that kind of thing, depends on his mood’s intricacies, whose spectrum is like a rainbow. Like the song says, never stop believing.
