Welp, we had cute girls doing cute things with camping so we got the next best thing…. I think.
I don’t know. I never went fishing before.

Plot Summary: Hina is an indoor-oriented girl who likes crafts and moves to a seaside town to continue with her high school education. She meets upperclassman Kuroiwa as she walks along an embankment and joins the mysterious “Embankment Club.” Hina dislikes sea creatures, but she fishes with her fellow club members and eats their catches. She gradually starts to appreciate the appeal of the ocean.
First Thoughts: Yep, it’s what I said this show was and that’s not a negative thing to say. It’s in the vein of Laid Back Camp except that it’s about fishing and crafts and it’s…. fine. It’s completely all good. Maybe not one that’s high on what anime to watch this season but hey, it’s some harmless wholesome fun. It’s made by the good folks at Doga Kobo and they know how to make anime centered on girls doing things like this adorable and sweet. Hell, The Helpful Fox Senko-san seemed like something that wouldn’t work but it did in the end.
Although Asteroid in Love was kinda mid for me last season but again, they never make a bad project.
Yeah, I’d CONTINUE WEEKLY but this season, I’m trying not to overdo it.
I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and I got something to watch on Tuesdays….again.
