Ok, we got another MMO video game anime for us this season. Granted, this isn’t like last season where we got a whole bunch of isekai but we got some MMO video game anime or at least, I checked out two.

Plot Summary: In the year 2043, Infinite Dendrogram, the world’s first successful full-dive VRMMO was released. In addition to its ability to perfectly simulate the five senses, along with its many other amazing features, the game promised to offer players a world full of infinite possibilities. Nearly two years later, soon-to-be college freshman, Reiji Mukudori, is finally able to buy a copy of the game and start playing. With some help from his experienced older brother, Shu, and his partner Embryo, Reiji embarks on an adventure into the world of Infinite Dendrogram
First Thoughts: Not gonna lie, this sounds all basic as hell and after watching this, I was right. Well, the aesthetic of it is very basic with the typical trimmings of the medieval setting, giant creatures that will kill you and large castles, all that shit. Then we got the MC who……well, at least he’s starting out fine enough although him protecting some NPC from getting killed with him getting his ass handed by that one big centipede-looking motherfucker over and over and over and over and— you get the point.
OK, I was getting bored from this, especially in the middle part of this. At least with BOFURI, the character was at least interesting while this guy is plain, a bit too plain Jane and oh, he has a partner waifu, I think.
LOW PRIORITY WATCH. It’s not awful but I’m not actually going my way to be reminded “Oh yeah, this was on today!”
I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and I do like the title design of this.
