Oh, you do, huh?

Wait, that means… *spontaneous combustion happens*

I thought that person knew how to make decent chicken wings in the grill…… guess I’ll order takeout, then.

Plot Summary: In the year 198 of the Age of the Sun, Tokyo is a crowded cosmopolis. But the world’s most populous city is threatened by devils that cause people to burst into flame at random. The only ones who can stop it are the Pyrofighters, a team of specialized firefighters. The young Shinra, blessed with the ability to ignite his feet and travel at the speed of a rocket, wants nothing more than to be a hero, and knows that this is the place for him. But he’s not the best at following orders.

First Thoughts: When I first heard about this show or what it’s based on…… yeah, I had no clue what it was. Yes, I know now it’s from the creator of Soul Eater and again, this is one anticipated anime of the season. SO……..Well, it happened.

That’s not to say it’s bad. In fact, it’s quite good even though I could tell the beats of what might happened to Shinra in his past, especially with the clips of his mom and baby brother cheering him on and that basically foreshadow the mostly fucked-up deaths of them and damn, the way they described it and the aftermath of them thinking Shinra did it is fucked up beyond belief. Shinra does seem like the typical delinquent but wants to be a hero in order to get his shit straight. Typical, yes, but not unwatchable. Also, why I got a feeling that Maki girl is crushing on him…. or vice-versa? I don’t know. The girl is cute, tho.

OK, the first episode is just building up things about him, the Fire Force and all that and I’m reluctant to see more of it.

Again, nothing I hated out of this. CONTINUE WEEKLY.

I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and with this weather, the combustion thing could happen already.
