TIME of the SEASON Fall 2018 Edition: RADIANT

This is based off a French manga? This seems like something made for younger audiences and it looks like something from Black Clover.

I just hope it’s nothing like that show.

This is Radiant.

Plot Summary: Seth is a boy who seeks to become a great magician, and a group of witches who seek to travel to the Radiant. Radiant is a mythical land that spawns monsters called “Néméses” which fall to the world from the sky. While traveling, they are also hunted by The Inquisition.

First Thoughts: Well, this is pretty much a shonen, even if the original material is French and it has the basic materials down from energetic protagonist with spiky hair that yells (at least it’s not Asta) and has a quest to become the greatest magician EVAR!! and must defeat these powerful monsters. Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is nothing new to gawk at but on the other hand, I rather watch this than Black Clover to be completely honest. I don’t know how long this will go long but from the looks of it, could be another 50-episode long runner– scratch that, it’s counted as 21 episodes– OK, it’s not that long so there’s a plus.

I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and I suddenly remember that I own Wakfu.
