Wow, slice of life is dominating this season, isn’t it? Well, I’m not complaining….at least the ones I’m watching are turning out to be actually good and worth sticking to watching.
Oh, and we got another one and it’s a HiDIVE Exclusive. Good, because I need to use this service more since I’m paying for it.
AHHH! WILDERNESS!!! It’s Hakumei and Mikochi!!

Plot Summary: While Hakumei is cheerful, outgoing and prefers to be outside, Mikochi is more introverted and prefers to stay indoors. These differences will set the tone for their friendship. Riding on insects and birds, creating tools from the forest and living their normal lives, day to day chores can be the biggest adventure in a small world full of wonders.
First Thoughts: OK, we have ourselves another slice of life anime in the season and like most of them, this one is pretty good. The catch of this one is the main characters are tiny forest creatures that live in a woodland house in the forest. If you’re looking for anything on an overarcing plot, you’re not going to find it here. The format for this is still 30 minutes (or 24) but with two stories in one and they are self-contained from the looks of it and yet this is still a very quaint and relaxing show and yet I feel like I might said that about shows this season too many times but I fuck with this.
I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and if a big bird was right behind me, I better have a flamethrower, a knife, some seasonings, some flour…..you know what I’m getting at.
