OK, this is the final show I’m looking at. I swear and it looks like…..another one where they debuted 2 episodes although this time Crunchyroll got to it late as it debuted April 2nd in Japan…..it streamed on the 9th…..and I got to it on the 12th.

I would say I’m lazy but then again, I’m doing this and We Ba[re-cap] Bears…..and I do it out of love for you folks out there. 🙂

This is Tsugumomo.

Plot Summary: Kazuya Kagami’s most treasured possession in the world is the obi left to him by his late mother. The scent of cherry-blossoms infused into it helps him through his day – but he never expected it to save his life, becoming a beautiful kimono-clad girl who calls herself an “artifact spirit.” Her name is Kiriha, tsukumogami of the sash, who naturally moves in with him, as he is her “owner.” Throw in Chisato, his bespectacled friend, an overprotective older sister who wants to take baths with him, a busty priestess, a seductive sorceress named Kokuyoura, and Kazuya’s life has just gotten a lot more interesting.

First Thoughts: Um……is this something that got scrapped in the early 2000s and years later, they decided to finally animate this and air it on Japanese TV? Because that’s the vibe I got watching the first episode of this and worst of all, it’s the eechi harem throwback of all things from that decade!!!! As in, the male lead is milquetoast mild-mannered but bland wishy-washy wimp, he got two male friends that’s a nerd and dumbass playboy and of course, the childhood friend girl with glasses who beats the shit out of him for comedy and (spoiler) got a crush on the guy and yeah……his sister might have a thing for him as well…….damn, I watched too much anime. But the main lead girl aka the magical girlfriend Kiriha is definitely a mix between psycho bitch and kick-ass girl when it calls it. Hell, the first fight of this is with….a wig? Anyway, it’s your typical harem type anime with more girls going to added later on to see who will Kazuya pick…..and by that, I guess it’s going to be Kiriha because it sounds too damn predictable as fuck.

OK, the action bits are OK at best but other than that, I don’t see anything that different than what was the trend 10 years ago and we all know what is going to happen. The main guy gets beaten up a lot for some petty bullshit and the panty peeks and the “pervert” shrieks and it repeats and repeats and repeats and repeats……I’M GETTING LOVE HINA FLASHBACKS!! HELP! MAKE IT STOP!!! SOMEONE HOLD ME!!!!!

*snaps back to normal*

Damn. Despite me not being a fan of this genre of shows in anime……..this is an definite WATCH 3 EPISODES and decide for yourself.

Now then, this should be the definite end of the first impressions!!! And I filled up my quota.

I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and never tell the story of you getting your ass kicked by a wig.

  1. I didn’t finish this first episode or even bother to list it as a dropped anime. I just moved on given I didn’t even feel like writing up why it wasn’t worth watching.
