We back at it again and we got a returning character for their sophomore appearance in this series and yes, folks, it is Ranger Tabes…..and I just noticed that I don’t know if it’s her first or last name.
No, really, what the hell is her full name?
Anyway, we got today’s episode: Creature Mysteries and what is the synopsis on that?
Ranger Tabes tells the Bears she’s been investigating a mysterious creature. When the Bears realize she’s actually investigating their friend Charlie, they split up to ensure Charlie’s safety.
As it turns out that Ranger Tabes has been on the search for a mysterious being in the woods and lo and behold, it was Charlie she was searching for, even to when she was a little girl, she encountered him and wanted to see who he really is. However, if you already know Charlie’s whole spiel about him not wanting to be known public, then yeah, it’s going to end bad with that. However, the bears try to distract Tabes from finding him and it was a hard fine considering Charlie kept on eating those cheese poofs or puffs (either way, they’re trouble) and he keeps getting into shit with those involved.
Hell, there was two obvious traps with cheesy poofs with a rope that wasn’t well hidden and he fall for one of them at least but almost at the latter. Speaking of that, the trap got Tabes trapped in a ring of fire trying to get out and when all hope seems lost, Charlie actually steps in and saves her….although she didn’t know it was him at first……
……or DID SHE!?!
Yes, while the Bears took the credit and later on she went back to her quarters, she spots Charlie at the lake yet while she knows about him…..she’s seems cool with him and it doesn’t look like she’s going to reveal him to the world.
FINAL VERDICT: Yeah, this episode was solid. It shows some back story to Tabes and how she encountered Charlie in her younger days and while she does want to know more about him, she never give the impression of doing it for devious reasons. It’s more of the wonder of seeing another creature like most kids do in a younger age, even though Tabes is an adult woman but still has a child-like spirit in her. It also did a good job of showing perspective from both featured characters and still retain their likability….although Charlie is still kinda stupid when it comes to them cheesy poofs. In the end, another solid episode from the bears.
I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and if I ever see something like Charlie in the woods…..I’d just run. Oh and wonder WHY AM I IN THE WOODS?!
