TIME OF THE SEASON Spring 2016 Edition – ENDRIDE

OK……what the hell is an Endride?

And why do I have a feeling judging by that poster with those two guys in the fore front that they will eventually have homoerotic fan faction about each other if the show gets popular?

Well, they’ll get it regardless. This is Endride.

Plot Summary: Endra is an unknown world beneath the surface of Earth itself. It is another world, where the giant Adamas shines above and seven-colored bands drift across the skies. One day, Shun Asanaga — an ordinary yet positive and bright 15-year-old middle school boy who lived in the “Land Above” — discovered a mysterious crystal at his scientific businessman father’s company, and the moment he touched the crystal, he was transported to Endra. He meets the recently captured 16-year-old Prince Emilio, who strongly despises the current King Delzaine and was imprisoned after seeking vengeance against the current monarch.

First Thoughts: What we have here is your basic fantasy out-of-this-world series setup with an average teenager finding something from his father, who we’re going to find more about him and his connection to the crystal. Then from the other side, a prince who is seeking help to overthrow the current monarch. What I’m saying is….yeah, this is your typical generic fantasy anime right here and it really doesn’t do much to get me invested. Characters are about as dull as the story and the some designs does often stick out like a thumb.

Yeah, I give this 3 MORE EPISODES because I really don’t see myself watching this for a season……actually, no, this is a 2-cour series.

I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid, and you thought Captain Earth and Comet Lucifer were too similar.
