Hmmm….something from the creator of Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed, eh?
We should be bound for something unique and creative that can also be entertaining and exciting and….
O……K…….it looks like a moe show.
Oh, wait…..*looks up another creator* Oh, it’s also from Koshi Rikudo, the guy that made……EXCEL SAGA!!?
In that case, let’s see what’s this about.
This is Pandora in the Crimson Shell Ghost Urn.

Plot Summary: In an age when large-scale natural disasters frequently happen all over the world, when cyborgs and autonomous robots are beginning to appear on the market in technologically advanced nations, and major world powers compete for technology and resources, the divide between rich and poor grows and the future for the poor looks bleak. In this transitional stage, everyone wanders around in a self-indulgent daze and the way out isn’t clear… This is the story of how two cybernetically enhanced girls meet.
First Thoughts: So this is what happen if an idea from Shirow Masamune is at helm of the creator of Excel Saga and it’s serviceable. You got all the cyber wonder and the cutesy extravagant insaneness combined into one show only unlike Excel Saga, the craziness is mostly tame compared to that and this is one moment in the show that’ll probably not get you into the series…mainly where the Pandora device is located in one of the characters. Other than that, the characters are remarkably decent if you can stand most of the cutesy designs of the two main cyber girls and the comedy isn’t that bad either, aside from that one element.
For me, I’m going to CONTINUE WEEKLY. This is actually quite interesting although you’ll feel weird in some scenes.
I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid in the Crimson Shell and…..wait, there’s a city called Cenancle Island? CENAncle Island?!?!
Nah. That joke is dead now.
