25 DAYS OF ANIME! – #13

This particular title is pretty much the anime you need to watch in your lifetime. Well, it’s one of them. It’s also a staple of the anime boom in the late ’90s-early 2000s when Adult Swim Action was getting huge.

And also it shows that while Japan may not give a shit about this show, America does in the biggest way and that brings us to our #13 show……

Trigun has everything to offer in all its 26 episodes with the gun-slinging action, the comedic timing of our hero Vash the Stampede and also the drama of him as well. We get the picture of Vash being this ultimate badass that’s worth a fortune of a bounty but in reality, he’s a goofy trickster of a guy that had a miserable past and oh, boy……that episode of his past with Rem Saverem….tears happened and I barely cry at most emotional things. I show sadness and concern at some times but never cried.

That’s how much I gave a damn. Also, lots of great characters in here like Nicholas D. Wolfwood and of course, the girls themselves Meryl and Milly. Trigun is a true treasure of anime that’s not to be ignored.

  1. I watched my first anime nearly twenty years ago. I admit, I missed the Trigun hype train. I’ll try to get to watching it though ><;;;. Thanks for reminding me of being a "casual American anime fan," xD.
