25 DAYS OF ANIME! – #22

So, in this next entry, I have said before that this particular anime will be on my list. Since I have recently reviewed it here, I do feel the need to talk about it here again but mostly for a brief time.

Number 22 bring us another magical girl anime in the making and it is….

People often said that this show is very similar in the vein of Madoka and I did say that it is a situation like Rahxephon and Evangelion but it doesn’t mean that one show is good and the other sucks. Yuki Yuna is a great show that has the equivalent balance of action with vivid and vibrant animation, character development among the 5 main characters that you’ll easily be attached to throughout and the leisure between battles that is actually needed (and it doesn’t feel like artificial or played-out). It’s action then relax, and repeat. It has a good balance of that going on.

Yuki Yuna is a Hero is another example of magical girl anime since Madoka that doesn’t go for the old-school tropes but isn’t all ‘edgey, dark, depress-y, moody’ and still achieve in making a great show.
