TIME OF THE SEASON Fall 2015 Edition: NORAGAMI Aragoto

Hey, a sequel to a show I first did a Time of the Season on…..

Oh wait, that was Space Dandy.

OK, the second show I did on Time of the Season now has a sequel and it’s a sequel to one of 3 BONES shows I liked last year. (Yes, that’s Space Dandy, Captain Earth and of course, NORAGAMI).

The stray god is back and it is in the form of Noragami Aragoto.

Plot Summary: The main focus is on Bishamon, god of combat. She has many shinki due to her being unable to abandon spirits attacked by Ayakashi. She has a large group of shinki with her as leader, causing her trouble as she sometimes cannot tend to all of them properly, especially when one of them gets sick or is in pain. She has a strong hate for Yato, as a dark past binds the two of them. How will the horrifying events dated hundreds of years ago in combination with current evil happenings affect Yato and Yukine?

First Thoughts: Amazingly like K, this felt like the same thing going back in and in the case for this show, that’s a good thing! The show is still packed with the wonderful action animation from BONES, the enduring and likable characters that is Yato, Yukine and Hiyori and the captivating development of the story from knowing about Bishamon, who’s apparently Yato’s biggest nemesis but really isn’t evil as she wants to help shinki but that might come to go sour as there is a lot of them under her wing and considering what happened to Yato last season. Not to mention, somebody Yukine met has a connection with Bishamon at the end of the first episode and who knows what that could bring?

Of course, this show is a CONTINUE WEEKLY and when I get a chance, I could watch the dub of the first season, which is now on Hulu for a refresh of the series.

This is really an enchanting series to watch.

I’m MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid and I actually will review the dub at some point. Hopefully.
