Time of the Season Spring 2015 Edition: PUNCHLINE

Is there supposed to be a joke to this? Because I’m not sure what they mean by the punchline because all I’m saying is a bunch of panty sho—Oh……you know what? Never mind.

And this is a damn noitaminA anime…..and their 10th Anniversary at that!!

Then again, they only had one good hit last year and it was made by the same studio who made this entry.

This is PUNCHLINE.

Plot Summary: High schooler Yūta Iridatsu has experienced “astral projection” i.e. his spirit has been separated from his body. He woke up in a mansion named Koraikan and met a cat spirit named Chiranosuke, who told him “You must find the Sacred Tome of Koraikan in order to return to your physical body.” While searching through corridors of Koraikan, Yūta bumped into underpants of its female residents, and doing so would, eh, create some big trouble for planet Earth.

First Thoughts: So…….if this guy sees a girl’s panties, he gets a nosebleed and the Earth would be destroyed? Um, OK….well, if I can say some positives about this is that some of the female characters are quite interesting in what they do in the first episode. Too bad the main character Yuta is about as bland as flavorless gum. Basically, all the guy is trying to do not get horny and that’s about it.

Also, a turtle that hides in your crotch.

No, I’m not joking. That actually happens.

You know what? Nope, that whole plotline of him is boring and I don’t know if a plot like that can survive 12 episodes. The first episode packed a punch I guess you can say the punchline at the end was disappointing? (Heh heh. *gets beaten with a wrench by the person reading this*)

Ok, that joke sucked.

Yeah, this is a MARATHON. The comedy’s average and all but not worth week after week.

That is all from me as this has been MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid, and I think I get the punchline now.

It still isn’t funny.
