“No Gen Urobuchi??!!! No Production I.G.???!! THIS IS GONNA SUCK!! THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT!!! AARRGHH!!” – The reaction I sense whenever I hear that Psycho-Pass 2 is going through some big changes in its production and how it’s getting annoying by the day.
This is Psycho-Pass 2.

Plot Summary: Having learned the true nature of the Sybilla System, Akane Tsunemori chose to obey the system, believing in both humanity and the legal order. She’s part of a new police section and spends her everyday life facing down criminals. Unbeknownst to Akane, however, a monster who will shake the system to its core is about to appear before her.
Thoughts on it so far: OK, hearing that this might be a disappointment because you-know-who is not writing the series but instead it’s the screenwriter of the Mardock Scramble movies and the animation studio changes from I.G. to Tatsunoko Pro does aggravate me a bit. I get with him if he only writes the minority of a show, most of it is going to disappoint. I get that with Aldnoah.Zero but it’s not like it’s gonna go up to shit’s creek because he’s not involved. Now saying that, maybe you think to yourselves “Gargantia’s not so bad now, isn’t it?” and their expectations going low on PP2 but then again, I wouldn’t set them as high as most people did. Anyway, the show is now back to status quo after what happened in the first season. Will they try to follow up what happened back at Season 1? I’m not sure but going into a slow build does help the show for a while and this whole “evil inspector” plot-line? Yeah, it’s fine and all but I hope they don’t really stick to that all season and I hope Akane doesn’t continue to be But answer me this…..does this really needed a sequel and of course, a movie coming up that Urobuchi is writing and I.G. animating? Well, I guess if PP2 is sour enough, maybe those fans will like that more and can breathe with comfort.
CONTINUE. Yes, despite all of what I said and many others say, this show is worth watching through beginning and end. (Oh, and just so you know I liked this opening song better than the first one in the first season.)
And behold, we are at the end of the—
WAIT!! WAIT!! WAIT!!! You forgot about one more show you left behind.
“But we got no more shows to go through. Some we wanted to do aren’t streaming in the U.S. and—”
“I don’t mean those shows. I meant that one show you should’ve reviewed a week ago. That one about mutant roaches.”
“Oh……that one……..well, shit.”

Plot Summary: Twenty years ago, Shokichi Komachi was part of the Bugs 2 mission to Mars that discovered Terra Formars, human-cockroach hybrids that resulted from a terraforming accident. Shokichi was one of only two survivors. Now, the AE virus that came from Mars is raging wildly on earth. Shokichi boards the spacecraft Annex 1 to go back to Mars to find a sample in order to create a vaccine. They will face an unanticipated accident, a multinational conspiracy, and even more advanced Terra Formars.
Thoughts on it so far: At first, you think “this guy is just going to fight to get money to save his best friend / crush / girl he really wants to fuck but SPOILER ALERT!! She dies (Technically not a spoiler, but at least that storyline is put to sleep) from some alien virus and they need to go to Mars and not get killed by these big fucking cockroaches. OK, the starting set-up is mostly clumsy for the first part and after 3 episodes, I’m not even sure if to continue this. By all means, this isn’t awful but mostly underwhelming and all sorts of ‘meh’ from the story to the characters who I can’t even remember most of their names. Oh yeah, one more thing. WHAT’S WITH THE [bleep] CENSORING? I heard of cutting some small parts out but this is just too [bleep] ridiculous? I get it is very gory and bloody and violently, but I wouldn’t know from it due to the large-ass black bars that cover up the whole screen.
TRI-WEEKLY. Yeah. That or wait until the uncensored version comes to Crunchyroll. Either way, you’re not missing much.
AND THAT IS IT FOR TIME OF THE SEASON FOR THE YEAR!!!
At least, until I do the recap and ”Best of, Worst of” 2014 Anime list.
And until then, this is MAK2.0 aka The Blue Hybrid, bringing all the elements in one format.
